Claudia Corvette. From her tousled bedroom hair to her name-all the porn stars in this world take their names from supermodels and sports cars-she is adult entertainment's prototypical femme fatale. Her life is the collision of countless troubled-childhood cliches and grown-up wet dreams, projected onto her as surely as her videos project their blue light onto lonely men around the world. From its first panel, How to Make Money Like a Porn Star draws the reader into the dark world of girls like Claudia, the men who fantasize about them, and the monsters who control them. In the hands of Rolling Stone writer Neil Strauss and illustrator Bernard Chang, this adult graphic novel weaves together black humor and blacker reality. Like all great American stories, it features humble beginnings, life-changing tragedy, stripping, abuse, implants, fame, addiction, bigger implants, abduction, gunplay, downfall, and even bigger implants. Not to mention a thousand shades of latex and L'Oreal. Part parody, part morality tale, here is the truth about the porn life, its outsized visual splendor captured in a comic parade of doe-eyed centerfolds, its essence distilled in a story that will haunt every reader who has ever wondered where his next fantasy is coming from.
Lot of suggestions on all niches of porn out there waiting to be viewed. A great resource.

This and Rick Vietch's Can't Get No are mandatory foundations of any early 21st centruy collection. The book is above analysis, anyone who attempts wordy critique has missed the entire point of the book, is the the target of the book's irreverence, and is not to be taken seriously.
Another Amazing Body of Work from Neil Strauss' Creative Brain!

This is yet another excellent body of work from the Creative Mind of Neil Strauss and the Extremely Talented Hands of artist Bernard Chang. I've had a chance to thoroughly read this book 3 (three) times now, and each time it gets better! ! There are so many double entendres, puns, Easter eggs, and startling true facts in this book - there is always something new I haven't seen each time I pick it up. Though I wouldn't call this a coffee table book - you will absolutely find a copy both on my bookshelf (next to Neil's other books) and on the back of the porcelain throne. What a great book to pick up and read a few pages from, or read cover to cover like his other works! I even bought a DOZEN extra copies for friends; and I'll send some to Operation Comix Relief as well - THANKS for another GREAT piece of Entertainment Neil!
This Is What A Graphic Novel Should Be!

This book is absolutely fantastic. A great ride from cover to cover. It never takes itself too seriously and like a classic DePalma film, it has a great time laughing at itself! The ads are all brilliant. Read 'em close. There's little clues, email addresses and websites that are all accessible! So cool! It's also the perfect follow up to Neil's Jenna Jamison book with an intro that really gets right to the heart of why he wrote this in the first place. Amazingly dark, tongue-in-cheek satire that is the equivalant of a really great popcorn film. Worth your time and your money!
