I received the hardcover "How to cook like a Jewish Mother" in 1969, (copyright 1969) at my engagement party.I have used this book constantly throughout the years - the directions are simple, the results delicious and the recipes are very easy to make. I am still married to the same man and have four sons who still love my cooking.This cook book made a wonderful Jewish cook out of newly converted Jewish girl.
