Postpartum Depression

If you have postpartum depression this book is a must. Usually natural Armour thyroid and natural bioidentical progesterone cream you can be happy and energetic again! I literally went from suicidal thoughts to complete bliss in 48 hours of natural hormone replacement. If I hadn't read this book and about 15 others on thyroid/hormones, I would surely be on antidepressants.

Finally! A Doc Tells the Truth!

I'm recommending this book to every woman I know! Finally, a doctor who understands that mainstream medicine is bad medicine - and especially in the area of hypothyroidism. After coming to close to death because docs had said for 15 years my thyroid labs were "normal", I had to learn everything I could about treating hypothyroidism because the Docs are "stuck on stupid" on this one. I studied the great thyroid docs (Barnes, Peatfield, Lowe, Derry, Dommisse) and learned how to get myself well. Now, Dr. Hotze has summed it all up nicely: if you have hypo symptoms, try a therapeutic trial of Armour Thyroid, and not counterfiet thyroid hormone that doesn't supply everything your own thyroid gland does, and dose until you get well, not until the doc likes the looks of your lab number! He says forget that TSH lab that is killing folks and keeping them underdosed while the pharmaceutical companies make big $$$ off all the other drugs you will be given while underdosed. Yes, Dr. Hotze tells it like it is...how the manufacturers of counterfeit thyroid hormone are brainwashing docs and telling them Armour Thyroid isn't a good medicine. Let me just say that Armour Thyroid gave me back my life and Dr. Hotze is letting folks know it can give them back their life too! Hormones, Health and Happiness

This is a marvelous book with usefull information, written in a clear and compassionate manner. Dr. Hotze translates his caring manner into the written word very well. This is a must read for women and men whose chronic symptoms are largely ignored by the conventional medical community. Be prepared to feel hopeful about the future and liberated to know that your symptoms are not "all in your head" and definitely not a drug deficiency.

A Must Read for ANY Woman!

Prior to reading this book, I honestly thought I was going crazy! I went to 8 different physicians seeking help, and none of them had any reasonable solutions to offer. I was told that my symptoms (lack of energy, weight gain, depressed moods and difficulty concentrating) were normal for someone my age with children. Half of the physicians tried to put me on anti-depressants. When I did attempt to take them, they did not make my life better, they only made me feel "numb". After reading this book, I finally have hope and no longer feel like a hypochondriac! Hotze's natural approach to health makes so much sense and seems so simple! This book is very easy to understand and an enjoyable read! I've even bought multiple copies already for Mother's Day presents!
