Warning: This book is addictive! Highly Recommended

Warning! This book can be addictive! After whipping out three easy and beautiful scarves from this book, I had to hide it so I wouldn't be tempted to buy new yarn. The instructions are clear and easy even for beginners. The author includes a variety of projects from fun and trendy to classic and conservative. Each of the projects are easy to substitute yarn for. I actually had to substitute yarn for all three of my scarves and they all came out great! Now I have my eye on two other scarves from the book I want to do but I don't need any more scarves!

Great Book!

I am just a beginner in crocheting, just 2 months started in fact! I found this book in the local library, and fell in love with it. Let me list the reasons: 1)Easy to understand directions. 2)Clear color photographs 3)Close-ups of how to do each particular crochet stitch 4)A comprehensive side-panel on what materials needed, what stitches are needed, how much of each material, etc. 5)All the patterns are beautiful. Some colors of yarn chosen in the patterns in the book aren't too pleasing, but the patterns themselves are worth each penny for the cost of the book. For example, the scarf on the cover! The color of yarn is hideous in my opinion, but I tried out the pattern anyway with a solid color yarn (from Cron). The scarf looked amazing. Hard to describe, so readers have to try it out for themselves. (This is a classic example on how not to judge a book by its cover)! Oh...I forgot one thing: 6.)The book has a spiral binding on the inside, so when you have the book open the pages stay open. No need for paperweights or awkward holding of the book while you're trying to stitch. These are the reasons why I gave this book a 5-star rating. Beginners and experts alike will enjoy this crochet book. I highly recommend it. P.S. Even the person who taught me how to crochet fell in love with the book, and she ordered her own copy!

Beautiful scarf patterns and yarn!

The back of the book says it all - Hot styles, Cool Stitches and Hot Yarns . The scarves in this book and the yarns they use are beautiful! The pictures offer close up details and the book is in spiral binding which is nice. I normally make scarves as gifts but I think the ones in this book will be for ME!!! HE HE! :)

GREAT SCRAVES

This is a great book with great patterns. It is hard to find books with just scarves in it around here in Alabama. I'm thankful I found your book.Thanks so much
