I understand that I get what I pay for...

I purchased the book in "good" condition. However, I'd consider it acceptable, not good. Half the book, if not more, has already been completed/written in.

Not happy

Well next time I won't order work books. Most of the book has been used, can't even erase what's been done so i can reuse it. I'm actually pretty disappointed. Waste of money. Shouldn't have been sold personally.

A great workbook. Unfortunately there were a TON of pages in this that were already worked. That took the fun out of using the charts in the back to track your progress, as it was in marker on most of them. Out of one section, about 30% were complete. Otherwise, a really great book to supplement your kids through summer, or to use in your homeschool day.

Fun way to learn

I bought this for my son and he loves it. It has various activities each with progress chart and stickers. This has been one of the best fun way to teach him.

All Around Terrific

These books are so great. They're easy to use, ahve good information and are fun for my child to complete. They have reward stickers and certificates which really keep my little boy going. The reward stickers go on a poster that looks like a game board and you have to work to get to the end. My son finished the kindergarten work book and asked me to get the 1st grade one for him. The book has colored pictures and great family activities. I am a preschool teacher and have used just about every book out there but this is the only one that I'll use at home for my own children. Bottom line is that it's a terrific product!

Complements the 1st Grade Learn to Read program

My daughter (6yrs) is going through the Hooked on Phonics First Grade Learn To Read system and the Math (Addition and Subtraction) system, and this workbook nicely complements these systems with familiar characters and fun exercises. Each page is in full color and nicely illustrated, and my daughter thoroughly enjoys the various games and puzzles in the book. The Super Workbook is broken into 5 sections, each with its own progress chart and stickers. The content of the Super Workbook appears to include all of the same contents (same pages) as the individual 1st grade Hooked on Phonics workbooks. These are:Word Games, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Addition & Subtraction, and Puzzles & Mazes. I was glad I found this out before ordering any of the other workbooks, as they would only duplicate this one. This workbook could be used without the full Hooked on Phonics reading and math programs to augement what is being learned in school. However, the full programs are very good, and I would recommend them as well. Since we started using them, my daughter has become much more confident in school.

Great Workbook with lots of skills to learn

We started this workbook the week he graduated Kindergarten and my son LOVES it. He's almost done with it now. It is divided into sections that focus on speicific skills like reading and comprehension, math, spelling, etc. The reward poster and stickers are very cool and keep my son engaged. He wants to "do just one more page" so he can get his next sticker, which they get about every other page. It has some cute characters like Slam and Dunk, although I'm not crazy about "Mad Dog." I would recommend this for anyone who has children who like workbooks!
