Suspecting that something is going awry in the management of his large-scale construction company, Harry Broughton, company president, decides to investigate. During his investigations, Jack uncovers the depth of dishonesty perpetrated by some of the division managers. When this exposure costs one of his friends his job, Jack begins questioning his role in the investigation and the motives of the company president in putting him to the task.
