Conway Foster is a coast to coast truck driver. His home base is Louisville, Kentucky with his only family, his brother, sister-in-law and four-year-old, Katie, living where they grew up in nearby Muldraugh. On his trips to California, Conway meets a waitress, Melissa, who is in big trouble. Her boyfriend gets her pregnant, then skips town, leaving her strictly religious parents insisting she get an abortion. Conway offers to marry her "in name only" to avoid Melissa being forced to kill her unborn child. But when Conway gets word that his brother has died of a heart attack, Conway has to go home. Discovering that his sister-in-law has also died, he realizes four-year-old, Katie, is now his responsibility. It takes several weeks to get his brother's estate settled and to make arrangements for Katie's care, during which time Conway is so busy and in so much pain, he nearly forgets Melissa. She's even easier to forget when he hires Felicia to be a nanny for Katie while Conway is away on his runs.He falls hopelessly in love with Felicia. Now he has a pregnant fiance on one coast and the love of his life on the opposite side of the country. So, now what does he do? Does he keep his word to marry Melissa or does he stay true to Felicia? The decision is almost taken out of his hands when Felicia finds out about Melissa. But Conway still must decide....Home Is Where.
