I read this book and I could hardly put it down. I loved the book so much that I decide to look for more books by the author.

The way to a cowboy's heart....

Alexandra is a cook who is stranded in Wyoming. Hank ownes a ranch and is in need of a cook. Alex not only fills the position of cook, she also earns a place in Hank's heart and turns his ranch into a home. Eventually they both realize that the place is not what makes a home but the people who are there.With many short books it is hard to give the reader an attachment to the characters, but Martha Shields has succeeded here. Once I finished this book I wanted to go back for the next in the series with Hank's sister Claire. I just couldn't get enough.
