Outstanding Entry in the Chadwick Family Trilogy

The second offering in the Chadwick Family trilogy is as endearing as the first. All the lovable characters from Fliss and Kit, Hal and Mole, to Sooz, Theo, Freddy, and others return in this installment and charm readers with all the familial love and joy, anguish and heartache that made the first a favorite with readers of Marcia Willett. The three young orphans from LOOKING FORWARD are grown up now and discovering love and careers in cities across England, yet eternally drawn to that safe haven known simply as The Keep, their sanctuary in an often troubling world. Fliss journeys to Hong Kong with her husband and children, Mole embarks on a naval career, and Susanna finds the love of her life. I love peaceful reading, Marcia Willett writes in the style of Maeve Binchy and Rosamund Pilcher..both favorites of mine
