What an Investment

Several years back I bought one book. Just one. Wish I had bought a dozen. I paid about $14 after shipping. Look at it now! I will never look at a single shoe laying on the road side the same. My wife and I always wonder, "was it used in a murder?"

don't waste money

This is a great book. However, unless you're a book collector... don't waste your money. After the said lawsuit was finish between the publisher and the plantiff. The publisher dropped the copyright vowing to never publish it again. This allowed anyone to provide it free via copies; internet; etc. If you want to just read the book visit-- ftp.die.net/mirror/hitman/

Weird

All this hype is nothing but urban legend. Because the book was the subject of a law suit much of the mystery has been dispelled. Rex Feral is an obvious pen name. Rex Feral was actually a Florida housewife who was paid by Paladin Press to write "Hit Man". What prompted the lawsuit and subsequent settlement where it was pulled from sale was that a copy of the book was found among the personal effects of a man who killed a mother for hire. The family of the victim sued the publisher and the rest is history. Being a prosecutor, I was amazed at the details included in this so-called "technical manual". I don't know how much information contained therein is actually useful for someone who is planning this sort of thing. I do know, however, that the FBI doesn't "track" books or "flag" reading material other than technical and government information. In the spirit of the 1st Amendment, this is an important book that deals with a disgusting subject but it is always facinating and worth the purchase price.

COMPLETELY INSPIRATIONAL!

I read this book and was caught into this vast world of contract killing. Very nice and a great page turner. Good for everyday info. From killing, to making money, to picking locks, to even making a silencer, this book has it all. If you have ever considered a contract killing career, read this!!

This is a joke!

This book has always been meant as a joke. It was written by a professional write who just happens to be a woman, not some hit man named Rex Feral. One chapter of the book advises you to make sure you wear gloves when snacking from the victim's refrigerator. If you can't tell by reading it that it is a joke, then you deserve what you get for acting on the information given. Although one person has been arrested for using the info in this book and the publisher is being sued by the victim's family, there is no harm in the book. I think this is extremely interesting and humorous reading material.
