Refreshing, Invigorating, Heart-Centered

"Begin by feeling whatever it is you are feeling right now. Continue doing this for the rest of your life." So says Moonstone Star White in her inimitable HIGH WAY FROM HELL. She goes on to show us how to rediscover the zest for life that somewhere along the way we replaced with what she calls "catatonic complacency." Since I am a book reviewer as well as a mystery writer, I had occasion to read an advance copy of White's book in hard cover, and felt an immediate connection to her heart-centered compassion. This is not one of those impractical hoo-doo feel-good books, however. HIGH WAY FROM HELL virtually overflows with practical exercises that help us regain belief in ourselves. White is willing, too, to share some of the low points of her life - like the day she shot forty rounds of bullets into her paintings - along with useful ways she's found to take the "high path" away from those hellish experiences. I'm delighted to recommend this book.
