Hiding in a Forest

Grade 1-3- This book is a wonderful recource for teaching about animal adaptations. The book is geared towards young readers with it's larger text and basic vocabulary. It is full of wonderful photoraphs that will catch the attention of young learners, as well as allow them to learn simply through viewing. Key vocabulary words are higlighted within the text and a glossary is provided to define each word. This book would support a teachers instruction as well as allow students to enjoy independently.
