For the Girlz...

"Hidden Intentions" tells the story of a career oriented, young, black woman with a "I know what I want and no one is going to stop me" attitude, is suddenly jolted by love, luxury, sex, and betrayal. The off beat narration magnetizes you almost immediately. The author "talks" through her characters, not simply writes about them; a style reminding me of Terry McMillan. My perception of the young woman is an uncanny maturity beyond her youth, perhaps just breaking ground in her early twenties, adamant about her independence...until relationships cause interruption. Her night out with the girls will have you laughing out loud, and the men causing havoc will have you recommending it to all your girlfriends! Not usually my genre of reading, but glad to know "Hidden Intentions," a page turner immediately. Meisha cleverly involves her characters in their own personal stories, as well, keeping you engaged throughout, never a dull moment! Entertaining, yet drama filled, easy reading during a comfort night of ice cream or a relaxing day at the beach; a girl time book!

EXCELLENT LOVE STORY

THIS STORY IS ABOUT A FEMALE AND A MALE WHO LOVE STANDS THIS TEST OF TIMES. MY MOM ALWAYS TOLD ME ABSENCES MAKES THE HEART GROW FOUNDER AND IF SOMEONE LEAVES YOU AND THEY RETURN THEN IT WAS MEANT TO BE THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE COUPLE IN THIS STORY. BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN BY MEISHA CAMM I LOVE HER WORK KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB
