A great manga

Heroes are Extinct!! is a great parody of the alien invasions that often graced the screens of anime in decades past as well as the Sentai (Power Rangers) live-action shows, with the twist of instead of being told from the defender's point of view, we get to see it all from the point of view of an alien general experiencing culture shock- or perhaps I should say genre shock- of landing in perfectly normal Tokyo with no 5-colored hero teams or giant robots in sight. Some of the humor may be lost on those unfamiliar with the genre and as-of vol 1 the story's barely getting warmed up, thus costing it a 5th star, but as a fan of both the sentai genre and good manga, I devoured this one and happily recommend it to others :)
