This book titled 'Heritage of Mewat' has originally been intended to form one of the uniform series of local history, particularly the history of the places and the architectural details of the buildings belonging to the area of Mewat and generally with the history of Mewat under Yaduvanshi Khanzada rule from the time of the earliest invasions of the Iltutmish and Balban covering the Tughlaqs, Sayyeds and Lodis to the British period in modern times. This is perhaps the first attempt to cover this forgotten area in light of the original and oral sources, and I have tried my level best to make it much informative and interesting.
