Though not as funny as 'The Henry Root Letters' and 'The further letters of Henry Root', this book will have you giggling quietly to yourself for hours.Root applies his British sense of humour and subtle sarcasm to the political and social issues of his day, and gives us invaluable guidance on the matters on which mankind has pondered, if not since the dawn of time, then at least since the invention of post-prandial coffee and agreeable company.Emerging breathless from that previous sentence, I would like to recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed the 'Letters' and I lament the fact that there isn't an online version.
