How to teach special needs children to read.

This book gives a clear and balanced explanation of the component parts of the reading proces: meaning, fluency and phonics. Meaning and motivation come first! Very clear guidelines on what to do in different situations, good case studies used as examples. Very practical hands on approach, well suited for teacher courses.
