An Open Letter to Dr. Schwartz

Hello. If you are in contact with Dr. Schwartz will you please let him know how much his work has meant to me over the past 20+ years? I started using his program of heavy hands walking in 1987 when I was a 32 woman who loved to walk but was looking for something a bit more taxing and body strengthening. I am now 52 and have followed through with Heavyhands walking all this time--and I look fantastic. My weight has been stable at 116-118 over the past 20 years, I have beautifully defined arm, leg, back muscles and abs and can wear halter tops and shorts and swimsuits that most women my age would never consider. You have given me hope that I can remain vital and alive and healthy for my whole life. Other women are asking my secret and I am letting them know about you and Heavyhands. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Schwartz! Love to you. Carla

Heavyhands available again!

Heavyhandsfitness.comI have been using heavyhands since the 80's and I am in need of new weights and handles, I have found the place to buy them again! The HEAVYHANDS EXCERSISE SYSTEM has the best excersise manual/book ever published, and now Dr. Schwartz is combining Yoga with Heavyhans...YogaHands...not sure...but the cardio workout and calorie loss heavhands can produce is simply the best! Thank you Dr. Schwartz for manufacturing them again. You have a lot of us handless handers out thier, and we will be pumping, walking, punching, ski-polling and lossing weight again!Thank you!Bernie

Excellent - best idea since Ken Cooper thought up aerobics

The author of this book may well have invented the idea of performing aerobics with handweights. However, this is not the usual 8-10 reps thrown in here and there in an aerobics class; his system is built on matching every leg movement with a weighted arm movement. The first exercise is walking while pumping one pound handweights. Other exercises include dance ,shadowboxing, and running - all while pumping smaller or larger handweights depending on your goals. The author has coined the word "panaerobics" to describe this combined strength-aerobics activity
