Awesomely awesome book!

It is one of the funniest yet sober books I've ever bought. Light and funny and.. easy to digest it takes you through heartache, depression, loneliness and low self-esteem. I recommend it to anyone and everyone that's ever been dumped, had dumped someone else, hasn't done it yet, has done it way too many times, or is pondering starting to do it!

Realistic

Dark, funny, sad, those are just a few words that sum up Andre Jordan's' "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable now. There are a lot of people who, at some point in their lives, relate to the situations contained in this book. The feeling of being unloved, unwanted and an outcast can take its toll. They say if you can laugh at your situation, then you are one step closer to being free of it. So if you want to experience the funny and serious side of depression, rejection and loneliness, this book is for you.

A collection of Very Few Negative Words, Witty Drawings, and Some Rather Grim Thoughts

If you are a person who believes the glass to always be half full, then "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" is NOT the book for you to read. Andrea Jordan has composed a collection of very few negative (but in a funny sort of way) words, witty drawings, and some rather grim thoughts. The book also contains several curse words, so it would not be the book to buy for your child or pastor. "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" is a black and white book that, if uninterrupted, an avid reader could read in less than an hour. I did find most of the book very entertaining, but it takes a certain personality to find the humor in "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now." Jordan is an artist, daydreamer, and a writer. He has a regular column on the BBC disability website, "Ouch!," and his own blog. Many of his writings and drawings deal with his struggle with depression. Reviewed by Terri Boggs
