LOVED IT!!!

I loved this book and hated when it ended. Noah and his crazy neighbors had me cracking up!!!! The book was funny but also had serious parts and made me realize how one's life can change in an instance. I enjoyed all of Ms. Holliday's books and I can't wait for the next one. Keep up the good work.

Hot and Juicy conclusion to the Gen.Holliday Series

I read this book in 2 days. That's pretty good for me considering the fact that I have 4 active children and they are not in a summer camp (which means they are always home with me). So it's normally an amazing feat to find some time alone to read. I read the first installment of this series, Groove, a while back and really enjoyed it. However, Heat was more enjoyable! Maybe it was better because it tied up everyone's story. It's a fun, fast read. If you want something light to read, go for this one. Highly recommended!

HEAT...Can U feel it??!!

First off, please do not read this book "Heat" unless you have read "Groove" and "Fever" b/c you will be lost, lol!! I loved this book just as much as I did the other 2. Bernice aka Geneva did her thing once again. Noah, Chevy, Geneva and Crystal are back for the 3rd time and they all have DRAMA that is off the meter! Geneva is hell bent on loosing weight after she gets humiliated @ her daughters school talent show by a little song "Jelly Belly", so she resorts to diet pills..DRAMA! Little does Geneva know "loosing your damn mind " is a side effect of the pills! Chevy is still spending out of control and trying to "sleep" her way to the top with her boss Anja. Chevy is a top notch Diva who is about to be knocked off her throne. Noah is over in London with his lover, their relationship is on the rocks b/c Noah does not want kids and his lover does. Noah and Zahn take a break and Noah comes back to Brooklyn... back to DRAMA!!! You will crack up at the descriptions of Noah's neighbors from hell. LMAO! And finally Crystal is creepin to Antigua to see Neville.(He turned her out in "Fever") Meanwhile she is going through a mid-life crisis at work and b/c she is 40 and still not a mother or married. And to add to her problems her ex Kendrick is out of jail, and sniffing around her. DRAMA! These 4 charachters are so real and you can relate to them. I loved it!

Always Laugh out Loud Good!!

I could not wait until I picked this book up from the book store. We were introduced to the four friends; Crystal - hardworking, independant sistah looking for love; Chevy - totally out of control gold-digger (this is the chick from Kanye West song); Noah - fun loving free spirit who is totally in love with his man; and Geneva - the divorced mother of two who is obsessed with her weight, in the prevous books "Groove" and "Fever". Holliday immediately brings the reader up to speed wtih each character - all engaged in DRAMA. Noah's partner Zahn wants a child, Crystal hates her job and she is in love with a giggalo, Chevy is broke (for real this time) and you just won't believe what Geneva has gotten involved with. Each character talks directly to the reader which makes for a quick read. And as with the previous novels the "Heat is On! This story is laugh out loud funny, sad and shameful!!! I will admit - I could figure out some of the story line - But I loved it!! I loved seeing the how Holliday put it all together. Applause!! Peace and Blessings!!
