A Satisfying Love Story

The overview on back of the book did not do this story justice. The brief description of it is: Marquess of Aldric married the heiress, Christina Godfrey, out of revenge, for it was her father's dishonorable dealing of gambling led to his father and later his mother's death and destitution of family ruin. But that was planned before he met Christina; Although she was the daughter but she was not the enemy-- she was intelligent, witty, tall, and pretty (although she did not realize her own assets). But eventually, through different events and possible murder escapes, they found understanding and forgiveness from each other. The story also interwoven some possible murder plots and escapes to gave it some mystery. But what I liked the most was Ms. Lange's wonderful way of telling the story, it was truly a tender, loving, romantic read.
