As a young boy growing up in Detroit, Michigan I dreamed about growing up to be a cowboy, an astronaut, a movie star, or maybe even President of the United States. But I never dreamed I would grow up to be a preacher. More incredibly I never dreamed I would become the senior Pastor at one of the most unique churches on the PLANET. That church would be SoupMobile Church. It's remarkable because it's the 'home' church for the homeless in Dallas, Texas. The homeless have NEVER had their own church--UNTIL NOW! I know that the homeless having their own church is pretty revolutionary but I'm thinking Jesus is sitting up in heaven and smiling down upon our little church. About the Author: David Timothy, a.k.a. SoupMan founded the SoupMobile in 2003 on a wing & a lot of prayers. The SoupMobile feeds the homeless in Dallas, Texas. in 2016 David became the senior Pastor at SoupMobile Church. David believes that in each one of us resides the spirit & passion to make a real difference in the lives of the less fortunate in this world. David & Shana were married on October 18, 2008.
