Enjoyable but tedious

I enjoyed this book, but it definitely dragged on at certain points. I’m not sure that I would classify it as a horror novel, more of a supernatural, folklore mystery. It’s not particularly scary, but i loved the writing style and the depth to all of the characters. It bounces around between narrators and time, so it can be hard to keep track of, especially when nothing is really happening, you’re just receiving a lot of backstory.
