The Writer Stands her Ground and Gets her Man

Nicola has signed up to spend the summer at a writer's retreat in Newfoundland, because she wants to write a romance novel. However things quickly start spinning out of control for her when she finds a drunken man in her bed. It turns out the man is the grounds keeper, a good looking hunk named Trent Livingstone, who lives in the other cabin in the duplex affair. When Trent sobers up he lets it be know in no uncertain terms that he wants his privacy and that he's not happy with Nicola on the other side of the paper thin walls. Nicola is determined to stand her ground. Besides, the only room left at the resort is in the small attack of the main lodge. It's not long before sparks fly between the two, but Nicola valiantly resists Trent's advances, however the heroine in her novel is increasingly turning into a guy just like Trent and Nicola's fictional heroine isn't refusing those advances. And then Nicola figures out that there is more to Trent than meets the eye. He is not just a caretaker gardener, he is something more. I really like the way Nicola worked out her feelings through her writing. It was a nifty way to get the reader into her head. This was a very enjoyable romance and I can recommend it highly.
