Very comprehensive. Be aware it’s a bit heavy

Very comprehensive and informative. I appreciated the emphasis on being open-minded and focusing on the client’s values and needs. The exercises and reflections were very good as well. My only real issue was that I felt it could have used more examples of positive change or things that are helping the people groups the book talks about. It’s not that there’s not any, but there’s such a focus on what has historically and is still going wrong and how that’s hurting people that it was quite heavy to read sometimes.
