Wonderful

It's a story of how to fall in love again after losing someone you once loved so dearly. Maggie, a single mother of 7 years old son, who lost her husband in an accident. And Scott, a husband who lost his wife from cancer. I loved the story so much. Scott was likeable. Maggie was sweet eventhough she was a little annoying by kept pushing Scott away. Also I was enjoying the story of the two ghosts, Mark (Maggie's husband) and Annie (Scott's wife), watching over Scott and Maggie, and have their own story unfolded. It was good!

I liked the story. Scott was so easy to like. Maggie was also nice but it was not as easy to see why Scott fell in love with her. The ghosts were okay but I thought that they took away from the book.

ENCHANTING, TENDER, WONDERFUL!!

I have read all kinds of romance stories and this is the first one I have TRULY enjoyed from cover to cover (even though there was not explicit sex, which is the case in most romantic novels). I could not put it down and did not want it to end. Loved the concept of the ghosts - Mark & Annie and the fact that only Ryan & Max could see them. They were perfect together!! I laughed and cried thru the whole book. Please hurry and write another!!

Tender, humorous second chance at love

As the plane is preparing for take-off from Dallas-Fort Worth, a tearful Maggie Connell remains upset having witnessed the joyful reunion of a soldier with his family. This happy scene triggers memories inside the distraught passenger. About one year ago, Maggie's spouse, a military pilot, died in a training accident when his helicopter crashed over Saudi Arabia. Her sympathetic row mate, Scott Bishop listens to her and fully understands as his wife died from cancer about a year ago too. Both Scott and Maggie vowed to never love again. However, that was before they met on that flight. They share much in common with the recent tragedies of losing a loved one. Scott and Maggie are also attracted to one another as if some other being was guiding their souls to mate. However, to love and forge a long-term relationship means risking hurt that neither one can deal with at this venture in their lives, leaving little doubt that fate will suffer a terrible setback. Readers will believe that they journey more than just HALFWAY TO PARADISE after perusing this tender yet humorous tale of a second chance at love. The story line is filled with rarely seen depths of emotion, yet enough jocularity to ease the audience to continue in one sitting. The lead characters feel genuine because of their hesitations and doubts.
