Birds of a feather flock together, but I'm crazy like a fox / As they say, better late than never, so I'm pulling out all the stops / Make a mountain from this molehill but let those sleeping dogs lie / There's no rest for the wicked, and once bitten, twice shy.

Hold your horses, it takes two to tango / I know the ins and outs, this is my quid pro quo / So paint the town red, this is the tip of the iceberg / I'll kill two birds with one stone, since the early bird catches the worm.

Endless Flame:
There's a way about her that pulls me back / Her intelligence, her looks, I'm just admitting the facts / Her eyes are an endless flame, for fire needs sparks to fly / And her presence serenades me, since there, nothing goes awry / Ah, beauty admires her and wit finds her clever / Yet if my eyes are of the beholder, then how can I not love her forever?

This Shade of Gray:
Broken by the truth, who else is there to blame / I have the world fooled, and that's my claim to fame / I keep buying the same emptiness, to help this lie sell / But unhappiness tastes bitter, that's how you can always tell.

Drowning, drowning, drowning, the deeper I go, I die / But trapped in this addiction, it makes me feel alive / The world isn't made of black and white, it has its shades of gray / Light, dark, and in between, yet I love this shade of gray.
