This disc is faulty

I bought a copy of the movie “Hairspray” the disc looked new, we watched it the day it arrived. About 1/2 way through the movie it froze with black screen, we tried and tried to fast forward and skip the scene but the rest of the movie was a total loss. I am very disappointed. Someone should test these before selling them.
