I tend to keep my eyes out for books about "youthing", the process of reversing the aging process. This is because (a) I do not believe that aging and death are inevitable, (b) that we have a lot of choices that can at least slow down this process, if not stop it altogether, and (c) it seems that whatever makes us live longer also is key for health in general. It seems that our body has natural regenerative processes that benefit from our helping it to work. This book is like a "Youthing for Dummies". It keeps it simple, recommends exercises that will not hurt you and that do not take much time, and has nice cartoons to illustrate its points. My only reservation is that I believe that a vegan diet is superior for youthing and this book advocates reducing meat consumption and still uses dairy products. However, having said that, when you go vegan you do need to know what you are doing and most people cannot become vegan in one step. Their dietary advice is still a good transitional step to what I believe is a superior regenerative diet. In a similar vein, while they teach good breathing methods, I have found rebirthing breathing to be better for regeneration. The book seems like a workbook from a workshop, but it is simple enough to follow without needing to go to a workshop.
