For a teen novel: not a pain for adults to read

The characters and their relationships are interesting to both boys and girls. Boys in particular may like the football imagery. Parents will like the growth and maturity gained by the hero. In the current publishing world, there are few books that appeal to teen boys that are not objectional to parents. It is a joy to find one.
