The Gray family of Clackmannan have been synonymous with transport since the late 1880s. From days of blacksmiths in Clackmannan to the locally famous Gray's Garage in Lochies Road, rich transport links in both passenger transport and haulage are still ongoing today. Over the years the main emphasis has been on road transport in the form of coaches. The instantly recognizable green-and-grey-liveried coaches were a familiar site on the roads all over the UK and briefly into Continental Europe.
