Great Resource for Parents and Grandparents to Journal for Posterity

This book provides direction and space for journaling the important facets of your life and your hopes and dreams and prayers for your future grandchildren. I just found the book that I gave my parents years ago to fill out and now that my mother has died, I relish the stories and memories she recorded in this wonderful book. I highly recommend this book and wish it was still in print!

A Unique Gift For Your Grandchildren: Your History

Marcy Jackson has written a record book for a grandparent to complete and give to grandchildren. This book can then become a permanent record, a family heirloom, a record of the grandparent's life. The book is divided into sections, including About Your Family, Family Tree, When You Were Little, When You Were Growing Up, Family Traditions and Celebrations, When You Got Married, Big Events in Your Life, Your Views and Feelings, and About Your Children. Each section presents questions for the grandparent, and space for him/her to record answers. I especially like the questions in the section Your Views and Feelings. For example, "What are some of the best books you've ever read?" and "In times of trouble who or what has helped pull you through?" At the end of the book there are several pages for letters and photos or other memorabilia. This book would make a wonderful gift from a grandparent to grandchildren of any age - from infants to adults. This book, completed, would make a gift to be treasured for generations.
