What a great manual!

Every grandmother needs this book! It is packed with insightful stories, cogent examples, suggestions that are doable, and so much more. In a little book is considerable wisdom and sage advice. The short, powerful chapters begin with a quote from the Bible and then a quote that brings the whole chapter into focus. Peppered throughout the chapter are verses and clarifications which enhance and enrich the material thereby increasing comprehension and usage of the information. Closing each chapter is a prayer, helpful Scriptures, a Scripture prayer, and related Scripture references. What I especially found helpful were the suggestions for grandmothers both near and far to their grandchildren. Some suggestions were eating lunch or meeting the classroom teacher to tell him or her they are being prayed for each day. Another asset to the book is how it addresses compassionately the issues of adoption, special needs, and abuse. Again, with powerful testimonies and Scripture the reader is calmed, guided, and comforted concerning their special child. Unusual in a book such as this is its appendix which provides such things a baby dedication ceremony and a sample journal page. The suggested reading pages have great books. This book is also available in Spanish. Be sure to get a copy soon and begin to truly bless your grandchildren.
