David George writes a great book!

Must read for all Dads

A wonderful treasure of a book.......David George hits all the right notes..... A must for every home and every Dad Insightful, funny and filled with invaluable advice to help you become the best Dad you can be.....and how to avoid the pitfalls of first time parenting...........It has been often said there is no manual for Fathering, ......but Good Dad Bad Dad is as close as it gets.........I loved the no nonsense, easy to read approach and especially the short chapters and range of issues covered......I have benefited in many ways from this book....... but the real winners are my kids!

Terrific Read

I bought this as a first time dad and found it to be a terrific read. Great chapters on DO Get a Lock on Your Bedroom Door and DON'T Try to Be the Perfect Dad. I liked how the book tells it like it is with practical advice and down to earth common sense. The personal anecdotes about his own kids acccentuate the book's realness. I enjoyed it.

Amusing - Entertaining - Fun Book!

My wife received this book at her baby shower as a gift for me. Wish we had this when our 4 yr old was born! It is amusing, entertaining and helpful! This is definitely a must read for all expecting dads!

Great, fun, and informative reading for Dads...

I really didn't want an MD or PhD perspective on parenting, and when I found this book I liked it immediately. The approach is light and entertaining, but there is plenty of great information here. I am a father of two, ages 7 and 3, so I've got plenty of experience, but I still took quite a bit away from this book. Chapters are very short, which makes this book easy to read when you have just a few minutes here or there. The style is very entertaining, and does not preach, but does provide nice tips that you can put into place immediately. My wife has read several of the chapters as well, but the book is really speaking to us dads. I especially enjoyed the information about educational financial planning, which typically would not seem like interesting reading. I'm rating this book 5 stars because it conveys a great deal of information in a very entertaining manner, and would be a good first choice for any dad. "Good Dad Bad Dad" would actually be a great gift idea for new dads.
