This inspirational painting book with Bible verses was created by Julliena Okah who is world-recognized as a classical solo violinist and artist. On September 1, 2001, in Nice, France, her summer house, she received a sudden inspiration that led her to paint. A few months later, she became an accomplished artist without any prior interest or experience in painting. At the same time, she was compelled to research God's word. Her intense study of Bible since 2001 changed her dramatically. Julliena Okah is a scholar of German philosophy, and graduated with top honor. Born in Japan, she studied Buddhism for seven years since 1994, even living in the Himalayas for a year. Studying Christianity was therefore not her interest. But this sudden incident in 2001 changed her life forever. She had never anticipated this miraculous change, but it urged her to create this book, God's Majesty in Color and Word. She realized that not many people were familiar with Bible verses. It is also hard to read a big book in our busy life. So, she created a small and handy book to allow people to know what Bible is saying, and wants to inspire people.This book, God's Majesty in Color and Word, is devoted to the New Testament. Volume one that was published in 2014 (Republished in 2018) is devoted to the Old Testament version and has influenced many people. People are using this writing as a meditation book as well. Her paintings are healing. She hopes this book will help people in many different ways, but mostly she truly hopes this book will help them to understand God's words and change their lives as much as it did to her.As an artist, Julliena Okah has had numerous exhibitions, including eight one-woman shows and exhibition in museum.
