Each chapter of this work reveals the weakness and the greatness of certain men chosen by God to accomplish certain missions that are humanly impossible.

You will undoubtedly ask me this question: "How can they be weak and great at the same time?" At this point I answer that they were indeed weak, but God made them glorious men, and many of them at the height of glory, ended up forgetting that it was the "Almighty" who was the author of their exploits.

When one takes for oneself the glory that belongs to God, one always ends up experiencing disgrace or misfortune (Acts 12:20 to 23).

Acts 12:20 to 23:

Now Herod was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon. They came to him with one accord, and having won over Blastus, the king's chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food from the king's country. On an appointed day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and addressed them publicly. The people shouted, "The voice of a god, and not of a man " Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he died, eaten by worms.
