Glory,Is My Favorite Book In This Series!

I loved this story. It is full of adventure,action,romance,and suspense.The friendship,bonding,then love,that develops between the poor mountain girl Glory,who was raised by a kind older man in isolation,and the 5 traveling mail-order brides,is heartwarming. The girls help Glory change from thinking two baths within a few months,was 1 too many,into a lovely young woman who learns to read,and to love. Glory's pure honesty and innocence teaches the girls and the wagon-master Lincoln Jackson a few things,as well! I should have stopped after reading Glory,because Ruth doesn't even have the same feeling at all,nor does it feel like it is even part of a series,there are too many changes,especially in the character of Ruth. However,Glory is a wonderful read,as a stand alone book.

I LOVE Brides of the West

I am reading the three novels in one book,and I'm on my fourth time reading it. My little sister is sick and tired of hearing me talk about Glory, Ruth, and Patience. I think they are so funny and sweet I can't put it down. ChaRay Dunn luv2read

Copeland's "Glory" Packed With Adventure & Romance

After the wonderful story of "Hope" I tore into "Glory" like a hungry wolf tears into its prey. Glory, a sheltered mountain girl, is forced to build a life on her own after her Poppy dies. With a bagful of gold and no change of clothes, she sets out in search of a new life. Far too naive for the cold world before her, she ends up on the run from a greedy uncle who wants her gold -- and who will kill her to get it. When she manages to latch on (however unwillingly) to a wagonneer named Jackson and a group of teenaged mail order brides, things REALLY get interesting. In her travels and adventures, Glory grows into a beautiful young woman with an unshakeable faith -- but will her faith be enough to win the heart of the handsome wagonneer? Copeland's "Glory" was glorious. This one's a MUST READ.

A Wonderful Read

I thought that this book was a wonderful book. I liked Jackson, the wagon master, he seems like a strong, proud man. I also liked Glory. Sometimes as new Christians we all have the same question as she did. I kept you on your seat when the story took a turn in events. It also kept you wondering who Jackson would eventually end up with. This book showed a woman can do just as well or sometimes better when it comes to "man's work" (I think that this is only true in certian situations and conditions).
