Globalization, a nice word, raises many hopes in us; unfortunately, these hopes are mere illusions. There is no pooling of resources through win-win partnerships. Predation continues unabated, and the gap between rich and poor widens daily. A few billionaires in US dollars, a small island, vie for the top of the world rankings, while the ocean of destitute floods our world. The initial principle of my fortune, your ruin continues. Africa is paying a heavy price, with shipwrecks in the Mediterranean confirming the slogan of the free movement of people. In the face of these obvious signs that pre-globalization is equivalent to post-globalization, the latter is confirmed as a great disillusion. Customs barriers, residence visas and selective industrial relocation accentuate this disillusionment.
