Right now my eight-year-old niece sees golf as a guys' sport. This book helped even the score a bit. Most of the book was about the basics - different clubs, the swing, terms - what you'd expect in a kid's book. Seeing all women and girls in the pictures helped her get over her feelings of isolation on the driving range. While it was a quick read for me, it was full of information leading to other books, web sites and resources which, to my mind, were as important (or, for me, more) than the specifics on golf.
