Loved the book!!!

I really enjoyed this book and could really relate to the charachter! I'm half east Indian and half Mexican and can understand the pressures of being a twenty something unmarried professional woman in a culture that is so marriage driven. It was an easy read that was so enjoyable.

A quick and enjoyable read

I read this book front to back on vacation and it is one of the best books I have read in a long time! Not only is this book hilarious, but it also has a story where you really connect with the characters. The author mixes work and dating in such a twist that you can't put the book down. If you liked, Eat Prey Love then you will love this book!

Fun and entertaining!

I recently read "Girl Most Likely To" and enjoyed it. I could relate to the character (even though I am not Indian) and the trials & tribulations of her life. It was a quick read, very entertaining and a well-thought out story.

Perfect vacation book!!

I read this on vacation and it was such a page turner!! Nothing could tear me away from it! Poonam has a wonderful way with words and a fabulous sense of humor. Her characters are real, relatable and likeable- you feel like you know them....and want to hang out with them. At one point I was laughing so hard that strangers were staring, but I didn't care...it was that good. I can't wait to read more of her novels!

Loved the story!

I picked up this book from the "new paperbacks" section of my local Borders. After reading the back of the book, I thought about how much it seemed to relate to my son's closest female friend. I wanted to read it to see whether it was something to pass on to her. (She has borrowed books from my extensive library in the past.) I started the book in the morning and finished it by early afternoon. I couldn't put it down. I plan on passing it on to her as I do think she will be able to relate to Vina in some ways. I loved the character of Vina and her journey throughout the story. I enjoy characters who are imperfect in a very real sense, the way all of us are. I also enjoy stories that help to see how alike we all are, despite our varying cultures and backgrounds. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Sharma's stories in the future.
