a lot of recipes use bisquick

I was purposely trying to avoid a book the used Bisquick instead of scratch ingredients. Somehow, in my eyes, a recipe in a jar that just adds some stuff to Bisquick is not much of a homemade gift. Also, it aways tasted really salty to me and I just looked up the ingredients. It has 380 mg sodium per 1/3 cup dry. Very different that what I would make from scratch. Would not recommend this book for those reasons.
