This book is about a ghost Wilbur, his brother Mortimer, and parents Serena and Mortimer. Wilbur and Mortimer are bored with staying at home and haunting people. They decide to go to school. Wilbur joins the third grade and makes friends with Willy Snodgrass, while Mortimer plays all sorts of daring tricks. This is a wonderfully funny, exciting, and special story everyone will enjoy. It's a great book to read out loud. I got this as a gift in the first grade and now that I'm in seventh I still treasure it as one of my favorite books next to the three Harry Potters. I recommend it for anybody.
Ghosts Who Went To School

This has always been a family favorite. It began with my brother who passed it on to two more brothers and finally to me. Needless to say the copy he has is quite worn. I hope this returns to print, as I would like to have a copy in our household for my children to read, as well as myself. A must read!
Great Ghost Story!

This has been my favorite book since 1976, after reading it in the fourth grade. It is timeless! The fun loving ghost brothers are two of the best children's book characters ever. I have an old worn copy but I'm just waiting for this classic to come back into print! It is a book you just love to read over and over again. I am a children's librarian and I love finding fresh new stories, but I can't wait to put this book back in the collection. I know the kids will love it.
