Get A Clue! This is Awesome!

"Get a Clue" is really enjoyable and something that Lizzie McGuire fans would definitely love. In this book, sticky notes are left everywhere to lots of people, saying things like, "I know what you did last week..." and many more. And guess what---Lizzie's name is signed on each one but she didn't write them! So who could've written them? Lizzie McGuire is definitely on the case! AWESOME book to read if you like Lizzie McGuire or not. Amazing! Lizzie's List of Suspects ? Kate Sanders, Queen of Mean: She's treated everyone like dirt ever since she was granted her cheerleader superpowers. (Ugh.) ? Carole Shelton, Classmate: She's taken an awfully suspicious interest in this dilemma. (Hmmmmm....) ? Ms. Young, Guidance counselor: She's acting really weird--spying on students and talking to herself! (Yikes!)

So good it could be a "lost" episode.

Excellence! Everything one expects from a prose "Lizzie" story and more. The plot is solid. The dialogue is spot on. And the author obviously did research on the subject. The characters' mannerisms, their expressions, even the reference of previous events that happened on the television show; everything hits on all cylinders. As we all learned in the episode entitled "Clue-Less", Lizzie (and Gordo) has a knack for solving mysteries, owing to her being a huge fan of Nancy Drew. Well, in this, the first of a series, Lizzie puts those crime-sleuthing skills to the ultimate test.Blackmail notes are breaking out all over school, and they are all seemingly signed by the same person-Lizzie McGuire! As though getting through Junior High wasn't tough enough, now she has the whole school thinking her a bad person. To salvage her reputation, and avoid punishment, she must crack the case wide open and find out who's out to frame her, in addition to getting her English project done on time! This book is everything the episode novelizations should be. One can actually see the camera angles one would use were it on television. Even Matt's subplots are handled with grace and panache. And what's more, Animated Lizzie is seamlessly woven into the narrative, allowing the audience the same intimate look inside Lizzie's head that we've grown accustomed to via the television series. And since the series has ended, these are the only fresh "Lizzie" stories we are going to be graced with, and the format of them being mysteries is nothing short of inspired. On a continuity note, from the general attitude of characters towards one another, and certain events referenced, one gets the feeling that the story takes place during Season One (Lizzie's 7th grade year). Sometime after the events depicted in "Rated Aargh!" but before Season Two.All in all a great "Lizzie" product. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable

It was a fun, easy mystery and kids will enjoy it. The series is really wholsome which parents will appreciate. I think its worth the money you'll pay for it.
