Fantastic book of horse poetry for young and old. Takes one on a close poetic experience with exceptional artistic illustrations.

The perfect gift for horse lovers!

I'm going to give this book to my horse-loving brother and sister-in-law, whose daughter is already grown. It's just as good a gift for adults as kids. But horse-crazy young girls will love it best, I think. Sandra Alonza has produced a collection of delightful horse poems that will play on all your emotions -- laughter to tears. This book is excellent for the classroom! The imagery projected throughout the book guides students learning in a linguistic sense. The author weaves a beautiful tapestry of equine tales that's soothing for both young and old.
