GREAT FOR STUDENTS!!!

Being a middle school teacher, I can honestly say that this book is able to meet a variety of ages. With our recent READ day, I shared some of this book with my 3rd period class...and they were begging me to continue when time was up! It's been a while since I have read something so entertaining and fun without being annoyed with an author's attempt to try to reach too many ages at one time. This is an awesome book.

Great story, and a MUST-HAVE for your youngster!

Its incredible depth of detail shows a deep and painstakingly crafted process to present this gem of a modern tale of fantasy, suspense, and humor, peppered throughout with delightful tidbits. As a veteran teacher of sixth graders with a pretty good concept of what "sells" with kids, I heartily recommend this read for your child!

Exciting Pirate Adventure, filled with imagination!!!!

This is one of the most imaginative books on pirates to come along in a long time. It is a delight for all ages. I can't wait for the sequel(s) as this appears to be the begining of a great series! The illustrations were really spectular and very real.
