Good textbook

I use this book as a textbook for an undergraduate course on Multimedia Application Development (together with Guzdial's book on Squeak). It's a good book if you want to know about the way multimedia content is encoded and transmitted. It's not very deep but, as I mentioned, I use it for an undergraduate course...
