Wait... Why is the Valravn here?

He only shows up when things go wrong. Like...really wrong.

Usually right before a gaggle of dark sorcerers and fugly monsters try to kill me. Or as Axel so eloquently puts it, he only shows up when the proverbial poo is about hit the metaphorical fan.

So, what's the deal? It's not like I've hacked off any evil wizards recently. Or slain any of their pet monsters. Or... Well, okay, I mean, I haven't...today. Or any more than usual.

Ah, crap. A gaggle of dark sorcerers and fugly monsters are going to try to kill me, aren't they?

And what's with that cryptic warning the Valravn gave us? "Avoid the woman in the cozy cottage of madness"? What could that possibly mean? Who walks into a cottage of madness?

So many questions. So few answers.

Except for one.

An awful lot of enemies are gunning for me. Basically all of them.

But I won't have to go it alone. What are friends for if not to help you fight supernatural horrors?
