Frumpy to Foxy In 15 Minutes Flat is an excellent book. It is about the same size as a fashion magazine and has adorable illustrations. This book covers every single type of fashion situation a woman encounters in her day to day life. The authors have suggestions for general day to day fashion decsions, first dates, dinner parties, job interviews, flights, skiing, pregnancy, and motherhood (to name a few). Their suggestions include hair, make up, accessory, and clothing tips, and they strive to make their fashion and appearance tips easy, sophisticated, and accessible for their readers. The authors are not elitist. You do not have to look like a "W" fashion model nor be an heiress to heed their fashion advice. Their suggestions are simply laid out in an easy to read format which amazingly details how in some fashion situations, one little detail will entirely upgrade your appearance. Frumpy to Foxy is HIGHLY recommended to all women who wish they could pull themselves together but claim they don't have the time or money. It's much more simple than you think!

Foxified

This book is invaluable. As I read it, I found myself saying "why didn't I think of combining those pieces in that way?" My husband does not know that I have bought this book or that I am following its tenets, but since I have become "foxified" he comments everyday on how good I look. The best part is that you have all of these pieces in your closet; it's just a matter of putting them together in the right way. Now, I don't get dressed without this book-literally. I now feel glamorous even when I'm simply going to the grocery store.

Looking Good FAST!

What a relief to read a book that outlines a simple plan for looking good FAST! The beauty of this book (besides the many helpful illustrations) is the way the clearly outline simple, quick steps that will have you looking good in no time flat. They also make it clear that there is no need to buy tons of expensive cosmetics and creams, and no need to have professional services done. Instead, they tell you how to can accomplish all their makeover tips in the privacy of your own home, for very little money. If you're tired of unrealistic beauty advice that's expensive and meant only for celebrity types with lots of money to spend, you're gonna LOVE this terrific guide.

Handy reference for what to and what not to wear

I am very happy that I ordered this book and it provides nice examples of classic clothing combinations that you can wear so that you can look pulled together in a short amount of time. Many people should find this book useful in helping them to weed out the undesirables in their wardrobe and to help them pull together clothing staples that will take them from the boardroom to the dance floor. The only thing that I thought was misleading about this book is the section about European travel. The person who wrote this section must never have been to Europe. The illustration had a woman in capris with a sleeveless blouse and had that tied above the midriff. While the Capris would be ok sleeveless attire is not acceptable in many catherdrals and churches with a dress code. Plus the American tendency to flash so much skin is frowned upon there. You would certainly never see anyone walking around in public with a sleeveless shirt knotted above their midriff.

Wonderful Fashion Advice for EVERY BODY!

This book offers wonderful fashion advice for every woman, whether petite or tall, slim or curvaceous. It covers every scenario with whys and why nots, and makes absolutely no mention of designer clothes whatsoever. In fact, the few brands they do recommend for make-up and beauty are all available at the local drugstore with the exception of Stila. An excellent basic guide that will be able to help women everywhere for years to come.
