I have always loved the Frommer's Guides and this one is no disappointment. Very useful information, with plenty of listings of restaurants, hotels, and attractions which coem in handy in a guide book. Other guide books do not have nearly as much information. So I highly recommend this one - short & sweet!

I borrowed the first edition from the library and I found that the book gave good itinerary suggestions as well as a good background on the area. Also, it doesn't limit itself to Provence and the Riviera; instead, it has a whole chapter on the Roussillon, which is another beautiful region of the South of France. I am buying this updated edition with much confidence.
Finally! the ultimate guide to the Provence
