Ernest Brook is a pilot for Central Airways, one of the last remaining airlines in the world. After the rising company Core invented flying cars, traditional aircraft declined in popularity, triggering an aviation crisis that would eventually affect the entire world. Johnny, a businessman for Central Airways, knows that his company will go out of business if nothing is done. However, Central Airways Flight 131, captained by Brook, plummets toward the ground in the middle of the remote Canadian taiga. Johnny joins the investigation, but the answers lead to even more questions.
